We had a wonderful lunch here! Everything we had was great ... the favorites were the black beans & yuca! Definitely worth getting off the interstate for 😊

Great food. Every dish had great flavor. The Cuban sandwich was spot on. The maduros, empanadas were great also. Great Cuban food for Salisbury.

The food is great here 💯. It's consistent. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of their menu. The bar tender, she's wonderful. She makes my Mojito perfect everytime. Salsa playing in the background. What more can you want from a Cuban Restaurant!

The minute you walk in they make you feel like home! Malik was great! The place is beautiful, it has an awesome small balcony. The draft beer selection is quite impressive. The food was delicious and serve promptly. Definitely coming back soon

Stellar! Super tasty food, knowledgeable staff, excellent service and great atmosphere. We stopped here on the way back from the NC Transportation Museum. However, we plan on driving back to Salisbury for more Mambo. Charlotte doesn’t have a Cuban restaurant that even comes close.

Incredible food and drinks with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We were only in Salisbury for 24hrs and ate here twice because we loved it so much. Our first waiter was helpful and suggested the best cider I’d ever had, and the second waitress we had was actually one of the owners. The food was absolutely delicious and authentically homemade. The coconut mojito is a must-try! I’m so sad this place is 4 hours away... might have to go back to Salisbury just to eat here again!

The food was amazing, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere was great!! I'm from Miami and this is the first place I've found that even cut it close to real Cuban food!!

Wife is allergic to bananas so we were a little hesitant to dine here. Mike our server walked her thru the menu of all the items that would be fine. Turned into one of the best flavored, best service meals we have had in a while. They cook their pork 12 hours and then sear it in a special double sided grill...awesome. The vegatables were spot on tenderness and flavor also. I had the flank steak and it also was seasoned spectacular. 1/2 price bottles beers till end of Dec 2019 so that was also a plus. Wide alcohol selection... can't wait to go back.

Empanadas appitizer could be a meal unto themselvesMy chicken plate came with both rice and potatoes.two starches! Unnecessary.no side salad.everything had a nice seasoning and a good flavor.

Visiting from Connecticut for first time, stopped here for dinner due to recommendation from a local. Bartender took his time and made drinks with finesse. The Old fashion cocktail was strong, unique tasting, something to slowly drink. Food was great, no complaints. Restaurant has nice atmosphere.

Mambo is perhaps the best restaurant in Salisbury: amazing food, great bar, and wonderful staff. If you're local or just visiting, you owe it to yourself to stop by for fantastic and authentic Cuban.

This place is amazing! The food is authentic and very flavorful. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Top notch restaurant. If you have not tried it you dont know what you're missing. I lived in Miami most of my life and this is as real as it gets for North Carolina. Just wish I lived closer.

I drove all the way to Salisbury looking forward to good food and it was closed for reconstruction. I wish the website would have said that. We ate at a bar across the street instead. 😔

Very authentic high quality cuban cuisine in the heart of NC. If youre ever in Salisbury, stop by and have aa meal or drink here. The flavor and taste of the dish brought me back to 1992 living in Miami FL. The dishes ate made with fine ingredients like mahi mahi instead of tilapia or cod. They bring cuban dishes to the next level. What a great way to learn about the culture. The resfaurant atmosphere is also wonderful and staff very friendly. If you see their food truck make sure you stop and try their dishes.

Excellent food and service . I enjoyed the camarones al ajillo . It was perfect . The bar is very friendly and nice . I highly recommend this place for drinking and eating .

Got hungry while driving around site seeing and found Mambos. OMG the food was amazing, just like mom would make it. And the staff, especially the owner were above and beyond nice and easy to talk to. Love this place.

Honestly I have no words. Tonight my brother and his pregnant wife were “kicked out” for NO reason after waiting for 30 minutes. Who does that?! The business owner needs to learn professionalism and leave your drama at home. I would never eat there anyways bc there food is overpriced. Good luck on running a business like that ✌🏼 Xoxo

WOW!! Impressed from phone call to make the reservations, to getting our own corner table, the AMAZING DRINKS and FOOD!! Definitely reccomend the Saoco and Tom Collins drink!! This food made us believe we never left NY😍 Our waitress earned her 22% tip easily. Will def be returning

We come to Mambo's regularly and the food is always amazing. The wait time for food can be a little long depending on how busy they are, but it's totally worth it! Great find in downtown Salisbury.

Even if you've never had Cuban food and especially if you have not had it, you should try it here. The appetizer sampler was a great way to explore their offerings, and the shrimp enchiladas were outstanding. The ginger mojito was definitely a new refreshing take on a mojito and the craft beer selection is a bit mind-blowing.

Totally worth the 40 minute drive for this amazing Cuban food. Other than some slow kitchen times the restaurant runs perfectly. Service is great, food is amazing. Plenty of beers to pick from. You won't find anything like it around here.

This place is a gem. The food is awesome and that's coming from a guy who lives in Miami where there are more Cuban restaurants than you can count. The beer selection is great. Pleasantly surprised.

So after waiting for 30 minutes like asked (Note: WE'VE BEEN HERE QUIET A FEW TIMES) they asked we leave. Once we asked why the Owner said they refused to serve us and could refuse service to anyone! Very professional considering WE’VE NEVER DONE anything to them. Just wanted a simple explanation as to what we did anyways.. They offered to “walked us out” so polite or the cops were going to be called.

We absolutely love eating here, the Vaca Frita is out of this world!!!!
